Our Configurations
Tecnair hydro-pneumatic cylinders offer various configurations to suit every application requirement. From speed regulation to precise motion locking and bypass systems for rapid acceleration, each option is designed to ensure efficiency, reliability, and maximum versatility in industrial processes.
Speed Control (R)
This configuration allows the speed of the hydro-pneumatic cylinder to be regulated through a flow throttling system. The control can be made using single-turn or multi-turn regulators, depending on the level of precision required. It is ideal for applications where smooth and constant movement is necessary, such as in cutting machines or assembly systems.

Stop Normally Open (V) or Normally Closed (T)
This configuration allows for precise stopping of the cylinder's movement. The Normally Open (NO) option permits the passage of oil until the locking command is activated, while the Normally Closed (NC) option blocks the movement until an opening command is provided. This solution is particularly suitable for industrial automation, where precise control of movements is essential.

Speed Control + Stop (A - NO / B - NC)
This combination integrates speed regulation with the ability to lock the cylinder in a specific position. It ensures precise movement control and safe stopping, making it ideal for applications that require rhythmic movements with intermediate pauses.
In industrial automation, where precision in movement control is essential, this configuration is widely used.

Speed Control + Skip (E - NO / F - NC)
The Skip function allows the speed regulator to be bypassed, enabling the cylinder to move at maximum speed during specific stages of the cycle. This system not only increases speed when necessary but also allows the regulator to remain set at a specific value, switching between two speeds (regulated and maximum) with a simple activation. The Normally Open (NO) option keeps the bypass active until it is closed, while the Normally Closed (NC) version deactivates it until activation. This configuration is ideal for production cycles that alternate between controlled and rapid movements.

Speed Control + Adjusted Skip (G - NO / H - NC)
Unlike the standard Skip, this configuration allows for the bypass to be adjusted, enabling the setting of two distinct speeds in addition to the maximum speed. This way, the cylinder can alternate between the regulated movement and two preset speeds, providing greater flexibility. It is an ideal solution for machinery that requires gradual speed variations, avoiding abrupt accelerations or decelerations.

Speed Control + Skip + Stop (I - NO / K - NC)
This configuration integrates speed control, the bypass function, and the ability to stop the cylinder at a specific position. It is particularly suited for complex processes that require controlled movements, rapid accelerations, and precise stops, such as in automated packaging systems.

Speed Control + Adjusted Skip + Stop (L - NO / P - NC / J - NO+NC)
This is the most advanced configuration, combining speed control, adjusted bypass, and cylinder locking. The J option allows for both Normally Open and Normally Closed management for the Stop function. It is ideal for applications that require maximum movement control across multiple operational stages, ensuring both precision and flexibility.
